One of my favourite weddings from this summer, day went so smooth and I really could not have asked for a nicer couple. Day started fabulous, cup a tea with the brides father, turn out he went to school with my own father and uncle. The lighting at the brides house was a challenge, mix of tunsten and natural window light…but I have always felt a challenge makes you think. Nice size church with plenty of room to move around in, I hate to be confined to certain spots, more I can move the more options. The reception was in Garryvoe, I have to recommend the hotel as the staff there do a great job. Advantage of middle summer weddings is the light, after the meal was over we went for a walk onto the nearby beach to get some of the last light and it was a chance to relax for the bride and groom.
For the photographers that read my blog, all the shots are natural light with no flash used except for the formal posed shots where I used one 100cm elinchrom octa powered by the Ranger kit and the first dance is multi speedlite radio triggered shot to cross light the dancefloor
